CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. margarine, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/4 c. sour cream
1 1/3 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts, chopped

Mix flour with baking soda and salt. Cream margarine.
Gradually beat in sugars and continue beating until light and
fluffy, about 5 minutes. Blend in vanilla, egg and sour cream.
Gradually add flour mixture, beating until smooth. Stir in
chips and nuts. Using scant 1/4 cup for each cookie, drop onto
ungreased baking sheets 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 12
minutes or until lightly browned. Carefully remove from
sheets. Makes 2 dozen large cookies.
