DOUBLE DUTCH COOKIES 3/4 c. butter or margarine 1 c. sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. cocoa 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. M & M's (plain) 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. raisins Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy; blend in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, cocoa, soda and salt; mix well. Stir in candies, nuts and raisins. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Press 3 to 4 additional candies into each cookie, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are set. Cool on cookie sheet 2 to 3 minutes. Remove cookies to wire rack to cool thoroughly. Makes about 2 dozen (3-inch) cookies.
