1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter or shortening
pinch of salt
3/4 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa (heaping)
1/2 c. nuts
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, beat until light; add
cocoa and flour and nuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes in
greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Cut while warm.
