APPLE NUT CAKE

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt

Sift together.
2 c. sugar
3 c. diced raw apples
3 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/4 c. cooking oil
3 tsp. vanilla

Topping:
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. canned milk
Add sugar, apples, eggs, nuts, cooking oil and vanilla.
Mix together by hand. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes. Use
9 x 13-inch pan greased and floured.
Topping: Cook butter, brown sugar and canned milk 2 1/2
minutes. Pour over cake hot.
