ST. TIMOTHY'S CAKE

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. unsifted all-purpose
flour
1 tsp. double acting baking
powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. golden seedless raisins
1 c. sour cream
1 to 2 tsp. cinnamon sugar

Grease and flour 12 cup Bundt pan or 10-inch tube pan.
In a large bowl combine butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs, one at
a time. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Add
nuts and raisins. Add to creamed mixture with sour cream.
Spoon into prepared pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake
in 350 degrees oven for 1 hour. Sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.
