MINT BROWNIES

1 c. sugar
1 c. and 6 Tbsp. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey syrup
2 c. confectioners sugar
green food coloring
1 tsp. mint flavoring
1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine sugar, 1/2 cup butter,
eggs, vanilla, flour, salt and Hershey syrup and place on a
cookie sheet that has been greased and floured. Bake for 30
minutes. Cool. Combine confectioners sugar, 1/2 cup butter,
food coloring and mint flavoring and spread over cooled brown-
ies. Let it set until frosting is firm. Melt chocolate chips
and remaining butter in a double boiler. Pour over frosting
and let set in refrigerator. Remove 1/2 hour before cutting.
