CHOCOLATE CHIP BRAN COOKIES

2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (can be omitted)
1 c. soft butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Kellogg's all-bran
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet
chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift flour, soda and salt. Blend
butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat well. Stir in all-bran and chocolate chips. Add sifted
flour. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking
sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes. Approximately 6 1/2 dozen
2 1/2-inch cookies.
