1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. soda, dissolved in milk
3 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
Mix well and bake in 4 layer pans at 350 degrees until tooth-
pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. coconut
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. light cream or canned
Cook sugar, flour, eggs and milk until thick. Add nuts
and coconut and spread between layers and on top.
