CHOCOLATE CINNAMON CAKE 1 c. water 1 stick oleo 1/2 c. shortening 4 Tbsp. cocoa 2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. buttermilk 2 eggs 1 tsp. cinnamon Mix water, oleo, shortening and cocoa in saucepan and bring to boil. Pour hot mixture over flour and sugar mixture; mix well. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Frost while hot. Frosting: 1 stick oleo 6 Tbsp. milk 4 Tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 1 box powdered sugar chopped pecans, if desired In saucepan, mix oleo, milk and cocoa. Bring to boil. Add vanilla and powdered sugar and pecans. Mix well and spread on hot cake.
