1/2 lb. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 egg, divided
4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Cream butter and sugar. Gradually add flour, then egg
yolk, cinnamon and vanilla. Put batter on a buttered cookie
sheet and pat down until about 1/4-inch thick. Put the unbeat-
en egg white on top; spread all over, then press pecans down
into all. Bake in 350 degrees oven about 30 minutes. Cut in oblong
pieces, about 1 x 2-inches.
