3 c. flour
3 sticks oleo
6 egg yolks
6 Tbsp. vinegar
6 Tbsp. water
Mix flour and oleo together. Add rest of ingredients
and refrigerate overnight. Next day, make up angel food cake
mix as directed on box. Mix 1 pound ground walnuts, 6 stiffly
beaten egg whites, 3/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Chip
1 medium size bottle red maraschino cherries and drain well.
Divide dough into 6 equal parts. Roll dough out on a heavily
floured cloth. Cover dough with cake mix, then nut mix and
then sprinkle with cherries. Roll gently with cloth and place
on cookie sheets. Place folded aluminum foil between rolls in
pans to keep from sticking together. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
