KATHERINE'S POUND CAKE|
3 c. flour
1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. plain flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. lemon
1 c. milk
Cream butter, sugar and Crisco. Add eggs, one at a
time, beating after each one. Add baking powder and salt to
flour. Add alternately with milk. Add flavoring and beat
well. Bake at 275 degrees or 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours in tube pan.
