BUTTERY POUND CAKE

3 c. sugar
3 sticks butter
6 eggs
dash of salt
3 c. Pillsbury flour
(all-purpose)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
8 oz. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, one at a
time. Mix in flour, salt and baking powder. Fold in sour
cream and vanilla. Mix well. Pour in well greased tube pan
and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Cool in pan for 30 minutes.
