GINGERBREAD

1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. black molasses
1/2 c. evaporated milk
3 tsp. bacon fat or oil
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 c. self-rising flour

Beat egg; add sugar and mix well. Stir in bacon drip-
pings or oil, molasses and evaporated milk. Add ginger and
flour. Mix well and pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan;
bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
