SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE

2 sticks butter (room
temperature)
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour (Softasilk)
8 oz. sour cream
6 eggs (room temperature)
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. lemon extract

Cream together butter and sugar. Add sour cream and
beat until it looks like ice cream. Add all the eggs at once.
Beat well. Add flour and soda; beat well. Add extract. Bake
in a 10-inch tube pan, greased and floured, in a 325 degrees oven for
1 to 1 1/2 hours or until done.
