SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE|
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. lemon
1/4 tsp. soda
Sift flour and measure it. Resift with soda. Cream
butter. Add eggs separately; add sugar, beating constantly to
cream well. Stir in sour cream. Add flour mixture, 1/2 cup at
a time, beating well. Add flavoring. Bake in well greased
10-inch tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool in pan 5 min-
