GERMAN CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE|
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 Tbsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter flavoring
1 c. buttermilk
3 c. cake flour plus 3 Tbsp.
1/2 Tbsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. German chocolate
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, flavoring and
milk. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add; mix well. Add choco-
late. Bake in tube pan that has been greased and floured.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees. Remove while hot and cover until
cold in tight container.
