FIVE FLAVOR POUND CAKE

3 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. shortening
5 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 tsp. rum flavoring

In medium bowl cream sugar, butter and shortening. In
small bowl beat eggs until lemon colored. In large bowl add
flour, salt and baking powder. Add eggs, sugar mixture, milk
and flavorings; blend well. Bake in greased and floured tube
pan in 350 degrees oven for 1 1/2 hours.

Glaze:
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 tsp. rum flavoring
Mix water, sugar and flavorings in small saucepan. Heat
until sugar is melted. As soon as cake is taken out of oven,
spoon glaze over top of cake. Let cool; then remove cake from
pan.
