CAROL'S FRUIT CAKE|
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. plain flour
1 lb. cherries (red and green)
1 lb. pineapple (red and
1 qt. nuts
1 oz. vanilla flavor
1 oz. lemon flavor
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Then roll
fruit in flour. Beat butter and sugar. Add eggs and flavor-
ing. Add fruit and flour to mixture. Bake in tube pan 1 1/2
hours at 275 degrees.
