PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES|
1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tsp. soda
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugar until smooth.
Add eggs, then flour, sifted with soda. Roll into small balls
and place on cookie sheet. With a wet fork, flatten each ball
in a crisscross design. Bake at 400 degrees about 10 minutes. Yields
