CHOCOLATE CHIP DROP COOKIES

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sifted
all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate
chips

Preheat to 375 degrees. Cream butter; add gradually and beat
until creamy both sugars, then beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift
and stir in flour, salt and baking soda. Stir in nuts and
chocolate chips. Drop the batter from a teaspoon, well apart
on a greased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes.
