BLONDE BROWNIES 2/3 c. shortening 2 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 c. pecans, chopped 1 c. chocolate chips Melt shortening; add brown sugar and vanilla.
