GRAHAM CRACKER DREAM BARS

Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with whole graham crackers. Melt
1 cup margarine. Add:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
Cook until a full boil, stirring constantly. Remove
from heat. Add 1 cup graham cracker crumbs, 1 cup coconut and
1 cup finely chopped nuts (optional).
Spread this over the graham crackers; top with a layer
of whole crackers.

Frosting:
1/4 c. butter or margarine,
melted
1 c. powdered sugar
cream and vanilla to right
consistency
Spread over and refrigerate. Cut in small pieces.
