ALPENROSE DREAM BARS

1 c. sugar
1 large egg, slightly beaten
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. butter
1 c. coconut
whole graham crackers

Line 9 x 13-inch pan with whole graham crackers. Melt
the butter (can use half margarine and half butter). Add sugar
and the egg. Cook until slightly thickened, then add 1 cup
graham cracker crumbs, nuts and coconut. Cool some; pour over
graham crackers on top.

Frost:
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Spread on top and chill. Cut into bars to serve.
