OREO COOKIE DESSERT

2 envelopes Knox gelatine
1/4 c. cold water
2/3 c. hot water
6 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
1 pt. whipped whipping cream
1 lb. Oreo cookies

Crush Oreos and put half in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan or
bigger. In bowl, dissolve Knox gelatine in cold water. Let
stand 10 minutes. Then dissolve in hot water and cool. Beat 6
egg whites until stiff and add 3/4 cup sugar and beat again.
Cool gelatin and add egg whites. Add whipped whipping cream.
Pour in pan and top with remaining Oreo cookies. Chill until
set.
