DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN CAKE

1/2 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1/8 oz. cream cheese, soft
1 c. powdered sugar
2 (3 oz.) instant chocolate
pudding
3 c. milk
12 oz. Cool Whip
shaved chocolate and/or
shredded coconut

Prepare cake according to directions (using half the
ingredients). Cook cake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 20 minutes.
Cool. Frost cake with softened cream cheese, powdered sugar
and 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip. Beat until fluffy. Frost cake and
refrigerate.
Combine instant chocolate pudding and milk. Beat with
electric beater until thick. Layer pudding on top of cream
cheese mixture. Frost with remainder of 12 ounce Cool Whip.
Sprinkle shaved chocolate and/or coconut over all. Refrigerate
24 to 48 hours.
