CHERRY NUT CAKE 1 c. sugar 2/3 c. cooking oil 2 eggs 1 can cherry pie filling 2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla chopped nuts (as desired) Cream together sugar, cooking oil and eggs. Add cherry pie filling, flour, soda, salt, vanilla and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan (greased and floured). Serve with whipped topping.
