OVEN CARAMEL CORN|
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. dark Karo syrup
1/2 c. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
15 c. popped corn
1/2 tsp. soda
Melt margarine in heavy saucepan. Add Karo syrup, brown
sugar and salt. Cook and stir until bubbles appear around the
sides of the pan. Cook 5 minutes more. Remove from heat. Add
soda. Pour over popcorn in large roasting pan. Put into 200 degrees
oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Remove from oven.
Spread out on waxed paper to cool.
