10 c. sugar (5 lb.)
1 tsp. alum
2 1/2 c. water
48 clover blossoms
30 white
30 red
18 fireweed blossoms or rose
5 pt. jars

Boil sugar, alum and water for 8 minutes. Remove from
stove; add blossoms. Leave for 20 minutes, then strain through
cheesecloth. Fill jars. Makes 5 pints.
