CARAMEL CORN
(Microwave)
3 1/2 qt. popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1 cube butter (1/2 c.)
1/4 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt

In a 2 quart container cook all ingredients except
popcorn. Bring to boil; boil hard 2 minutes. Remove; stir in
1/2 teaspoon soda. Put popcorn in brown paper bag; pour hot
syrup over the popcorn. Shake well in bag. Put in microwave 1
1/2 minutes. Shake bag to mix. Microwave another 1 1/2
minutes. Tear bag open; let cool.
