OLD FASHIONED LEMONADE

2/3 c. sugar
5 c. cold water
lemon peel from 2 lemons
1 c. fresh lemon juice,
squeezed from approximately
10 lemons

In a saucepan combine sugar, 1 cup water and lemon
peel. Simmer gently over medium heat for 8 minutes; set aside.
When cool, strain ingredients into a quart serving pitcher.
Add fresh lemon juice and remaining water. Stir in ice cubes.
Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
