CROCK-POT APPLE BUTTER

1 gal. apples
2 qt. apple cider
2 c. sugar
1 c. honey
2 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. powdered cinnamon

Apples should be a good cooking type tart apple
(Jonathan). Peel, core and slice thin. Cook until soft like
applesauce. Cook cider until only 1 quart left. Add other
ingredients to this and put in crock-pots (2 or 3 pots). Cook
down water until thick (24 hours). Stir now and then. Do not
put lid on pot. Makes 6 to 7 pints. Put in hot, pint jars and
process 15 minutes in boiling water bath.
