CARAMEL CORN

1 tsp. vanilla
2 sticks real butter
2 c. lite brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. white corn syrup
8 qt. popped corn

Boil ingredients 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add
1/2 teaspoon soda. Pour liquid over popcorn in large roasting
pan, put in preheated oven at 225 degrees for 1 hour, stir occasional-
ly.
