AMERICAN SPAGHETTI 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni 6 slices American cheese 1 Tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. salt Boil 2 quarts of water; add salt. Cook macaroni, directions on box. Put stewed tomatoes in a small pot. Mash tomatoes; add sugar and bring to boil. Drain macaroni and portion 2 or 3 plates. Break up cheese on macaroni; add stewed tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Serves 2 or 3 (use 3 slices of cheese for each serving).
