PURPLE HULL PEA JELLY

purple pea hulls
3 1/2 c. sugar
1 box Sure-Jell
3 to 4 c. water

Boil pea hulls in the water. Cook until water is deep
red. Strain, retaining 3 cups of the juice. Add the sugar and
Sure-Jell. Prepare according to package.
