COCONUT-CASHEW GRANOLA 4 c. rolled oats (not quick oats) 2 c. wheat germ (not toasted) 2 c. coconut (wide, unsweet) 1 c. cashew (raw) 1 c. sunflower seed (raw) 1 Tbsp. cinnamon 1/2 to 1 c. bran (optional) 1 c. raisins (optional) 1 tsp. vanilla 2/3 c. honey 2/3 c. vegetable oil Combine oats, germ, coconut, cashews, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, bran and raisins in a large bowl. Combine vanilla, honey and vegetable oil in a saucepan over low heat, stir until thoroughly blended. Pour hot liquid over dry ingredients. Mix well, spread in shallow pans. Bake at 300 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes until lightly browned.
