HAM 'N CHEESE SOUFFLE

1 lb. cubed ham (bacon or
Spam)
6 to 8 slices white bread,
cubed
1 lb. Old English cheese,
cubed
3 to 5 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 stick butter or margarine,
melted and slightly cooled

Toss bread, cheese, ham and the seasonings and put into
buttered 9 x 9-inch glass pan. Beat eggs; add milk. Pour over
dry mixture. Pour melted butter over all. Cover and refriger-
ate overnight. In A.M., let stand at room temperature 30
minutes. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or a little longer. For 12
people, use 1 1/2 recipe in largest glass pan. Bake 1 1/4
hours at 325 degrees.
