CARAMEL CORN 4 qt. popcorn 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 stick butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. light corn syrup 1/4 tsp. soda Pop corn and set aside. Combine sugar, butter, salt and syrup in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda. Pour over popcorn and mix well. Put in pan and bake in a 250 degrees oven for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool and store in airtight container. Nuts or cereal may be added.
