1 stick butter
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. pecans

While mixing ingredients, put stick of butter on cookie
sheet to melt in 325 degrees oven. Beat egg whites stiff to form a
peak. Add to the beaten egg whites, 1 cup sugar and 1/2
teaspoon salt and mix. Add the pecans and stir until coated.
Spread on cookie sheet. Bake 30 minutes. Stir every 10
minutes. Tear open grocery bag and spread out finished pecans
to cool.
