DOG BISCUITS

3 1/2 c. flour
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. rye flour
1 c. corn meal
2 c. cracked wheat or wheat
germ
1/2 c. nonfat dry milk
4 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 pt. chicken stock or other
liquid
1 egg and 1 Tbsp. milk (to
brush)

Warm chicken stock; dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm
water. Add to chicken stock. Add all dry ingredients. Knead
for about 3 minutes. Roll 1/4-inch thick and cut with cookie
cutter. Place on cookie sheet and brush with egg-milk mixture.
Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Turn oven off and leave over-
night.
Cleans dog's teeth in a couple of days. If your dog
prefers sweets, add sugar, molasses or honey. You may omit
salt or add vitamins.
