MUSH 2 c. cold water 2 c. corn meal 4 c. boiling water 1 tsp. salt 1 Tbsp. sugar Mix cold water and cornmeal. Add to boiling water. Add sugar and salt. Cook about 35 minutes stirring constantly. Pour into 8 x 8-inch pan. When cold, cut into 1/4-inch thick slices. Flour and fry until brown.
