8 c. tomatoes, peeled
1 large onion
1 large or 2 small green
small bunch parsley
3 whole cloves
1 tsp. basil or Italian
seasoning (to taste)
Cut tomatoes, onion, green peppers and parsley into
small pieces. Add cloves and seasoning. Bring to a boil.
Sieve. Add 1/2 cup sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a
boil again and seal into hot jars.
