CARAMEL POPCORN 2 c. brown sugar 2 cubes margarine or butter 1/2 c. corn syrup 6 qt. popcorn 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda Bring sugar, butter, syrup and salt to a rolling boil for 4 or 5 minutes. Remove from heat and then add soda. Stir well. Pour over popped popcorn in a shallow baking dish. Bake in a 200 degrees oven for 1 hour. Stir at 12 minute intervals. The best caramel corn around.
