BEEF STROGANOFF

2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. sirloin steak
1/4 c. salad oil
1/4 c. minced onion
1 minced garlic clove
1/4 c. water
1 can mushroom soup
4 oz. can sliced mushrooms
1 c. dairy sour cream

Slice steak diagonally across grain. Thin slices. Mix
flour, salt and pepper. Dredge meat in mixture. Pound flour
into both sides meat. In 9-inch glass baking dish heat oil 1
minute. Cook meat 3 to 4 minutes. Stir frequently. Add
onions and garlic. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring. Stir in
water, soup and mushrooms. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, covered. Stir
twice. Blend in sour cream, heat 1 minute. Serve over noodles
or rice.
