1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 c. roasted, salted nuts
(peanuts or cashews)
1 tsp. butter or oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Microwave on High 4 minutes sugar and corn syrup. Add
peanuts or cashews. Microwave on High 4 minutes. Add butter
or oleo and vanilla. Microwave on High 90 seconds. Gently
stir soda in until light and foamy. Quickly pour into lightly
greased cookie sheet. Let cool 1 hour. Break in small pieces.
Use 1 1/2 quart casserole dish to microwave in. Do not double.
