DELICIOUS HOT MILK STEAMERS Coffee Cocoa Steamer: 1/3 c. instant coffee 1/3 c. instant cocoa 1/3 c. sugar 2 qt. hot milk Mix ingredients; stir in milk. Serve in mugs. Top with whipped cream. Butterscotch: 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 qt. hot milk Add butter and brown sugar to milk. Serve hot sprinkled with cinnamon or nutmeg. Other Flavors: 1 or 2 Tbsp. any of these: maple syrup, molasses or honey 1 c. hot milk dab of butter Stir maple syrup, molasses or honey into milk. Dab of butter may be added for richer flavor. Spicy Steamer: 2 qt. hot milk 1 c. spiced syrup 1/8 tsp. salt Spiced Syrup: 2 c. water 1 1/2 Tbsp. cloves 1/2 c. red cinnamon candies 1/2 c. sugar Mix hot milk, syrup and salt. Serve in mugs; top with marshmallows or whipped cream. Spiced Syrup: Mix in saucepan water, cloves, red cinnamon candies and sugar. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain. Use 2 tablespoons syrup for each cup of milk.
