HOMEMADE SOAP

2 1/2 Tbsp. lye
8 Tbsp. cold water
1 c. fat, that has been
strained

Dissolve lye in cold water. Let this solution cool.
Add fat. Beat for 10 minutes. When solution becomes thick, pour
into mold and let it age for several days. This recipe may be
doubled many times with equal results and is gentle to your
hands.
