CANDIED NUTS 1/2 lb. walnuts 1/2 lb. pecans 2 eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. melted butter Toast walnuts and pecans at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Beat 2 egg whites stiffly; fold in 1/2 cup sugar. Melt 1/2 cup butter in cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn every 10 minutes until butter dissolves.
