MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. white or dark corn
syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 qt. popped corn
1 stick oleo

Combine all ingredients except baking soda and popcorn
in a 1 1/2 to 2 quart dish. Bring to boil in microwave and
then cook on Full power for 2 minutes. Remove from microwave
and stir in baking soda. Put popped corn in a brown grocery
bag. Pour syrup mixture over corn. Stir well. Close bag and
put in microwave for 1 minute on Full power. Remove and shake
well. Put back in microwave for 1 minute longer. Pour into
pan and allow to cool.
