MAKE AHEAD PUNCH

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. lemon juice
4 c. orange juice
2 c. brandy or 2 c. rum or 1
(28 oz.) bottle ginger ale

Combine sugar and lemon juice in medium-sized saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Cool to room
temperature. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
To Serve: Combine sugar syrup, orange juice and liquor
or ginger ale. Serve over ice.
